St Michael’s Cottage is an 18th-century hideaway located in the heart of the medieval town of Malmesbury. Formerly part of the church counting house, the cottage is now a comfortable and well-appointed self catering holiday home. As well as the town’s charm and amenities being on the doorstep, there are also the Abbey House and Gardens and England’s oldest hotel, The Bell Inn, literally a second’s walk away.

The space

St Michael’s Cottage is a spacious open planned cottage set over 2 floors.

Ground floor:

On entering the property, you will find an open planned kitchen, dining area and sitting room with TV, DVD player and Internet TV. You’ll find a fully equipped kitchen which seats four and contains a washing machine, microwave, fridge, freezer, electric cooker and gas hob.

First floor:

Master bedroom with king sized bed, chest of drawers and an amazing view directly onto the Abby ruins and garden.

The second bedroom comes with a double bed and built-in wardrobe. There is plenty of room in this bedroom for an airbed for a child.

The bathroom comes with a bath and shower attachment, basin and WC.

The cottage is ideally situated for touring and walking in this part of England, with easy access to the rest of the Cotswolds. With its bustling towns and charming villages, and the Georgian city of Bath all within an easy drive.

The cottage is fully equipped with everything you will need. With its unique location of being in the historical centre of the town, you are able to walk everywhere within minutes or even just a few seconds!
